- SBCs refers to welded connections between smaller branch lines and main lines.
- Normally the welded connection between the SBC and the main line would incorporate a standard fitting such as a ‘Weldolet’ fitting.
- Branches typically 1/2” to 2” diameter.
- Often SBCs support heavy isolation valves.
